Third Grade

Third graders will be reviewing the notes that we learned last year (sol, mi, and la) as well as the rhythms we practiced (ta, ti-ti, ta-ah, rest, and half rest). We will continue learning new notes and rhythms through songs and games. Keep an eye out in December/January for a note coming home about recorders. Third graders will begin learning to play the recorder in January as an introduction to playing an instrument. We will put on a performance in the spring.
